FAWN-00601: Naerium

Meet Naerium - or Aeri as her family calls her.

Her family has put in a joint-effort to raise her since her mother Vesper is off killing bad guys not home a lot and has the maternal instinct of a rusty spoon.

Left in Jolene's care when her mother is gone, she is being raised on Solstice's flower farm by Jolene and her mate, and is doted on constantly. Though she knows Nanico and sees her frequently when Sphynx visits, she views Jolene as her mother, and both Nanico and Vesper as an especially affectionate aunts. Nanico was happy to let Aeri be fostered by Jolene when Vesper told her the plan, and now Aeri is a doted-upon and lovingly-reared child surrounded by family that works to make up for Vesper's UnMaternal Nature.

Aeri is s very bubbly little thing, prone to random bouts of brooding - which Jolene attributes to Vesper's tendencies. She loves helping Solstice with the flower farm, and doesn't mind getting her hands dirty much like her mother but in a different way.

She has a green thumb and a particular skill with plants, and Solstice has very much taken her under wing to learn the cultivation and horticulture business of growing all sorts of seasonal flora.

She also appeared from an early, early age to have gotten the extra dose of maternal instinct her birth-mother lacks, and has an especially close bond with her foster-mother/aunt Jolene - who predicts that Aeri will be a wonderful mother herself someday, an ironic antithesis of her birth origins.
