SUMMER CAMP 2026 QUICK LINKS
Summer Camp Adopt Raffle

welcome campers!

Our annual festivities took a turn this year when the Merfauns arrived. Seeing so many Faunids in one place– appreciating and learning about the world around them– encouraged Merfauns to come out of deeper waters to ask for help.

The meteor’s crash early this year has impacted ecosystems all across Atalav, especially the waters. Shifting tides, flash floods, unearthed water flows along rocky cliffs, changes in the behavior of wildlife, and even more forces unknown… All of that chaos has left Merfauns and other species alike displaced from the places they once called home.

Come help by participating in our challenges to win some Pebbles to spend in the shop!

Amnesiac: Hi, camper! I’d tell you my name, but… I don’t have one just yet. When I first woke up a few months ago, I knew nothing about this world or where I came from. I remember opening my eyes in a field of flowers, and what a beautiful day it was.

Everywhere I go, Faunids welcome me as one of their own. I may not know where I come from, still, but I now know where I belong: here, among Faunids and their friends. When I asked if I could help with the annual Summer Camp, I had no idea what was in store for us… What a strange sight it was, watching those strange Faunids coming out from the water to meet us all! Though some of the other campers say they’re a little odd, I feel a sense of kinship with them. I’m a little odd myself.

Eekel: Eekel doesn’t know why he was picked to talk to the campers. Maybe it’s that Eekel’s friends are shy, but Eekel isn’t! Eekel trades with the land Faunids all the time. Eekel’s friends say he’s ‘Carries-matic’, but Eekel doesn’t know what that means and hopes it’s a nice thing to say.

HOW SUMMER CAMP WORKS

You do not need to own the Faunid you use, but you must have permission from the owner.

All creatives made during this event must be made by the submitter. Collaborations are allowed but only count toward a single user, not all collaborators.

Pebbles (Event exclusive currency) cannot be sent to other users.
Items gained through Pebbles or activities can be traded to other users.

Summer Camp lasts one whole month. In that month, you will be able to enter prompts/activities with a Faunid and interact with dailies. Once a prompt is open, it stays open for the rest of the event. With each prompt submission, you will receive Pebbles, a currency exclusive to this event that can be spent in the Summer Camp shop.

We will also have raffle adoptables for this month that you can enter for by participating in all the prompts! They will be revealed at the mid-month mark. This year, we have some guest artists making adopts, too!

--

All of the items that can be bought are visible in the Summer Camp shop.
Exclusive Trait and Mutation Applicators have had their prices increased by 10 Pebbles, but do not have limited stock across the whole community. A maximum of one per year can be bought by each user.

ADOPT RAFFLES

FAQ

"Do I have to use the same faun for each entry?"
No you don't have to, but it is highly encouraged.

"Can I submit multiple entries?"
You can create multiple entries per prompt but only one prompt entry will count towards currency collection.

"Does currency rollover?"
If you do not spend all of your currency in the month, it will roll over to the next year!

"When can I spend my pebbles?"
You can spend your pebbles at any point in the event!

"Can I do my entries traditionally?"
Yes you can! Some prompts require specific lines and backgrounds, so you will need to find a way to incorporate these requirements in your traditional entry.

DAILY ACTIVITY: FISHING

Thanks to your participation, campers, we were able to rebuild some of our docks!

This event's daily is Fishing. You'll be able to fish once a day for the rest of the event. Who knows what you might hook! If you're lucky, you might even find some treasure. One of the items you can reel in is our first item that can be opened.
When opened from your inventory, you have a chance to receive up to two fishing items and 1 Pebble. Good luck!

Go Fishing!

prompt #2: Shelter a companion

We've collected quite a few baubles and trinkets while fishing. Not only are we cleaning up the coasts and rivers, we're also catching some things that could be quite useful for our displaced companion species!

Color one of the new companion bases or write about an experience with companions for this activity.

(And 6 more companion linearts located in the prompt! Shriekers, Averistrich, Bolters, Leafels, Chimebirds, Lapines, Plodders, and Cacklers!)

Thank you for all the hard work, campers!
So far, we've gathered over four hundred catches through fishing, and we still have some time to go. The merfauns and our other watery friends seem much happier, now that they can travel the changed creeks and coasts without all the hazards that blocked their way. Our other friends are happy, too, and the word keeps spreading! Seeing so many species gathering in harmony is an unforgettable sight to see!

Corrupt Sigils Intro
Amnesiac: I first woke up with a companion of my own, which I've come to learn is called a hooflet. One incredible thing I've learned from Faunidkind is that each living thing is a treasure in their own way, just as every Faunid has their own special tie to the world we are already part of before our first breath and long after our last. When you take an interest in the world around you, it takes interest in you right back.
I've yet to name my hooflet companion; how could I be ready to tell someone who they are if I do not know who I am myself? Perhaps it will come to me. In the meantime, why don't we take a look at what's around us, and celebrate the things we see as the incredible things they are?

prompt #3: Nature Exploration

TAKE SOME TIME TO APPRECIATE THE WORLD AROUND YOU!

For this prompt, you or your Faunid will study something found in nature. It should be a short study that takes thirty minutes or less to complete!

You are free to make your drawings in-character with your character's art style. You can do a study on something your Faunid might have seen and thought was interesting. Alternatively, look for something that catches your eye the next time you go outside! You never know what you might notice differently when you're looking for it.

The requirement for this prompt is to create something as you learn about a piece of nature in a short period of time.
This prompt is as open-ended as you want it to be. When you find something, be curious about it! Why does it look the way it does? What niche does it fit in the environment? What makes it special? What drew your eye?

(See all details in the prompt, linked below!)

THE FINAL PROMPTS: ITEM RECYCLING, GIVE ME A NAME...?, and COMPANION CREATION

ITEM RECYCLING

Here, you can recycle any unwanted items you received through fishing for Pebbles.
Surely someone will find a use for them!

1 item = 1 Pebble

The first time you recycle, you will be manually granted the Nature's Protector participation badge on approval.

GIVE ME A NAME...?

A Request from the Amnesiac

"In such a short time, Faunids have taught me that I have many pieces to make up who I am. They say that I am curious about all things. Friendly to all and their companions. Strangely absent of knowledge, yet quick to learn. A fast friend. Excited about life and where it leads with all things. Unusual, especially in the antlers.

I think I'd like you and all the other campers to do one last thing before we part ways for the season. I want you all to name me. A name feels important, and I want to remember this summer and carry it with me forever. You are all very important to me.

Do you have any suggestions?"

Guidelines:
1. You may come up with multiple names, but they must all be given at the same time in one submission.
2. Please separate multiple names by starting a new line for each.
3. You may use two-word and hyphenated names.
4. Please keep all submissions appropriate.
