As the world gets cold and dark, many of our animal friends go to hibernate. But not Faunids! They know the best fix for being stuck in dreary weather- second only to a mug of hot chocolate- is to search for the positives our winter season has to offer. Faunids, as a whole, love an excuse to share their crafts and company with one another. The Winter Gala is a time for gathering, games, and fun!
Every year, a few new friends come to join the celebration. They would be delighted to find a home that really fits them.
2025: Velly TOYS
The adopts include both anthros and quads, and were all designed by MUTT.
If you’re a longtime community member, you may recognize our guest mascot from the toys she often makes to give Faunids when they are newly introduced to our community. Veltruska, more widely known as Velly, is owned by Athenadora. She has made some exceptional toys for our new friends this year!
Velly gives Sleepy Gary a large sheep stuffed animal. It still has its tail which is perfect for using as a pillow for resting one's chin while you cuddle with the sheep. It's based around a Merino sheep. Its colors are similar to theirs.

Velly gives Krinkle a large polar bear inspired toy. Its colors are similar to theirs and it holds a small sack in its paws, perfect for storing the wooden figurines that Krinkle makes!

Velly gives Surely Swirly a helper toy. It is a large and somewhat heavy lion with a guardian mane similar to theirs. It sits on its back legs and its arms are curled into a shape that lets it hold bowls of goodies, sweets, or bakery items. The lion comes with a little chef hat and its colors are similar to theirs! It smells faintly of cake at all times.

Velly gives Wooly Wolf a plush inspired by the Belgian Laekenois. Its got thick, tough fur like they do, and can withstand a good bite and shake. Its colors match the colors of their legs, but the darker point around its muzzle paws and tail tip match their dark swirly colors.
The dog stuffy can hold things in its mouth with a small magnet!

Velly gives the Nutcracker a two-part toy, a small stage with a few holiday props like pine trees and bushes dusted in sparkly snow. The main toy is a stout knight with poseable limbs. Its colors match theirs. It is the perfect toy for a small performance. As a bonus, the toy can also be used as a nutcracker (or to crush their enemies on the stage).

Velly gives Bunny Slope a puppy toy! Its a little simple, but this is due to the complex colors she gives it. And the little sweater she had to hand knit to match their plush cardigan bison fluff. Its colors match theirs to a scary degree, including the pink beans.

Velly gives Chocolate Rodent a massive plush that looks like a yummy s'more. The filling of the smore is a blanket that perfectly matches the rodents pattern. The graham crackers are attached to each other with a simple tie and can be used as a pillow or a burrow of warmth. The marshmallow has a cute smiley face on it.

Velly gives this elegant Faun a never-done-before reversible toy, because they are simply so fancy that they deserve it. The outside is a male pheasant-looking toy that is golden and has exaggerated eye feathers to match. Its tail is also long and shiny and crinkles a bit when touched. Inside is a rich pretty brown female pheasant with soft plush feathers.
